Sun PROM updates

To determine your current PROM level:

/usr/sbin/prtconf -V (single or multi-user mode)
/usr/platform/`uname -m`/sbin/prtdiag -v | grep OBP (single or multi-user mode)
.version (at the Open Boot Prompt)

To download the latest PROM for your system:

1. Login to http://sunsolve.sun.com/ with your contract support username and password.

2. Click Advanced Search under Search Sunsolve:

3. Check the Patch Descriptions checkbox under the Contract: section. Click Next >>

4. In the Synopsis: search criteria, enter Hardware/PROM and click Go

5. Download and install the relevant PROM patch for your system. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully.

Note: the PROM patches do not show up in a patch listing (showrev -p or patchadd -p) not in /var/sadm/patch, so check your PROM level using the commands above.
